You know the shapes. Chord grips, scale boxes, a few patterns that get you around the neck.

But when you try to work out a melody, play it in a different key, or explain why a note sounds right, the shapes don’t help much. You were taught where to put your fingers, not what you’re actually playing.

In this free live class, I’ll show you the numbers behind the notes: the simple system that tells you what every note is, how it sounds, and how to use it to play melodies in different keys without the struggle.

What you’ll learn

  • Why every note has a number and a job. Some notes rest, some add colour and some pull. Once you hear the difference, you stop guessing.

  • What your open chords have been hiding. The chords you’ve played for years already contain the scale. You just haven’t been shown how to see it.

  • How changing key can come down to a single note. And how the numbers let you take a melody into a new key without learning a new shape.
